Your body knows the way.
For millions of years, animals have instinctinvely shaken to reset and thrive in their nervous systems and bodies. Humans too have carried this innate wisdom through the ages; shaking ecstatically to release trauma, induce healing, and connect deeply with Spirit and the land.
Whole body shaking can bring profound gifts to one's emotional, physical and spiritual health and vitality. Practicing as a group greatly amplifies this.
Together in this 2-hour workshop we'll create a welcoming, low stakes, exploratory, and fun space as we remember together and drink from this wellspring of ancestral wisdom and practice.
You're warmly invited, regardless of level of experience.
We'll explore shaking medicine as a way to:
release stuck and unhelpful energy, stories, and pain held in the psyche and body.
learn to feel, receive, and transmit life-energy in service to personal and collective healing.
gain greater familiarity with one's own healthy limits and ways to regulate intensity when relating with life-energy.
deeply surrender into creative life force and enter flow states.
receive the profound benefits shaking offers to our physical health, including: increased bone-density, balance, blood-circulation, synovial fluid production in our joints, and more.
connect with the vibrant energy-bodies of other beings and with the primordial life force alive in the land.
discover your own unique relationship with this old medicine.
There is a long tradition of shaking medicine being "passed" to another who previously has not had access to ecstatic shaking or as a way of amplifying anothers shaking practice. This "passing the shake" will be offered to those who want.
We will be gathering outdoors at Mama Tree Farm, a regenerative family farm in beautiful Upper Ojai valley.
Join us in this uplifting time of discovery and spiritual synergy, as we learn to trust the instinctual wisdom alive in our bodies. Together let us remember our profound agency as vessels of life-energy and direct lines to Spirit, and the land.
Come shake. Come release. Come remember.

About the facilitator:
Micaiah learns from and serves his human and more-than-human community as a ritualist, healer, soul guide, and relational bridge to the wilds. At 19, he began training in Buddhist Monasticism and embodiment-based healing modalities. At 23, feeling called by the wilderness, he left the monastery to embark on a series of multi-month to year-long solo retreats in remote nature, that continued for the next 9 years. Micaiah’s path of homecoming to earth and to Spirit has been intimately intertwined with his committed path of homecoming into loving relationship with his body, emotions, and human community. Micaiah serves at Earthkeeper Wisdom School in a year-long immersive training in the art of intuitive ritual craft, holds community rituals, and works one-on-one supporting others to connect at depth with their land & soul.
